BiographyBen is a senior member of Wolfson College and Postdoctoral Researcher in the CoMo Group, Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology. In addition to his work at the University of Cambridge, Ben supports cmcl innovations in his role as Senior Engineering Consultant.
Ben's research interests are centred about biochemicals and bioenergy, specifically those generated from algal feedstock. His experience lies in both experimental and modelling aspects of algal growth, separation and extraction, and lipid/biomass conversion through conventional and novel technologies and methodologies.
