Biography
I graduated from Cambridge in 2007 with a PhD; my thesis concentrated on stochastic particle models for soot formation. Prior to the PhD I took parts I to III of the Maths tripos. I was a member of Trinity college throughout my time in Cambridge (and still am).
I then went to work developing stochastic simulation software in the commercial sector. I have now returned research to work on the coupling of stochastic and deterministic methods for reacting flow problems that also involve particles. I am currently based at the Weierstrass Institute for applied analysis and stochastics in Berlin
