Biography
My name is Alexander Vikhansky and I graduated at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at the Perm University in Perm, Russia. I made my PhD at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Beer-Sheva, Israel, on a thesis with the title: "Solution of some problems of mechanics of granular media". After two and half years in the CoMo group I’ve got a position in Queen Mary, University of London. My research interests include Granular Media, Laminar Mixing, Lattice Boltzmann Equations, Numerical Methods and Population Balance problems.Research Themes
